In Toledo there is a Koker clothing store, where are below the floor the ruins of the water supply of the Roman Empire. It was a dazzling experience with dizzy to stand on "an empty spot". When you came into the shop, immediately you stepped onto a glass plate. In the basement is part of the distribution network, the purpose of which was to carry water to spas.

Most impressive display of ancient Roman construction, and great reflections.
VastaaPoistaWooow! Excellently photographed. I've never been in Toledo but I hope I will be in the future in this former capital of the Visigoths and former city of Kabbalists.
VastaaPoistaVery old and modern things combined like this are a real experience!
VastaaPoistaWow! How funny to be walking over such ruins. It's nice they've been incorporated into the shopping experience.
VastaaPoistaCool reflections!
VastaaPoistaJeje! Me encantan tus reflejos.
VastaaPoistaUn abrazo
VastaaPoistaYesterday and today, the age of the Roman Empire and modernity of the clothing store is melted in your photos.
VastaaPoistaKisses
What crazy juxtapostions - the old Roman waterworks and a C21st clothing store.
VastaaPoistaOlen iloinen tulet, opetat meille asioita Espanjassa emme tiedä.
VastaaPoistaMinun täytyy mennä nähdä, että kauppa ;)
Buena fotos Eila, cuando vaya a Toledo iré a verla:))
Besos.
That's cool! You'd wonder what the original residents would make of what's above their old stomping grounds.
VastaaPoistawhat an interesting combo....the shop and the ruins!
VastaaPoistaOdd juxta-position, made all the more striking by the way you've captured the reflections.
VastaaPoistaI did not know! That is news to me!
VastaaPoistaWow, that's a extraordinary combination !
VastaaPoista*wow* Mikä jännittävä ostoksia tämän pilata lattian alle!!!!
VastaaPoistaVau, miten hienosti onkin tehty, kun on jätetty näkyviin, ihan tosi hieno!
VastaaPoistaSaludos.
Fascinating! Those can't have been easy shots with that light--- well done.
VastaaPoistaLuulisi olevan hankalaa rakentaa tuollaista maan alle.
VastaaPoistaI saw lots of these glass floors in Greece where there are also tons of Roman ruins.
VastaaPoistaOh wow. How amazing. Though I am not sure I would be comfortable standing on that glass...
VastaaPoistaTosi hienoa. Hienot heijastukset!
VastaaPoistaWow, olipa upea paikka! Aurinkoista viikonloppua ♥
VastaaPoistaVery nice of the architects to show us a glimp of the past. Were there more shops with this look in the past?
VastaaPoistaWe were first in another shop of the same store and there they advised us here. This shop you can also find in internet (KOKER). And it was the only shop we visited (incredible cheap prices and beautiful clothing). So I don't know if same is in some another shops.
PoistaAmazing to see that Roman history below your feet while shopping in a shop!
VastaaPoistaMuy buenas capturas, amiga... Unos trabajos excelentes...
VastaaPoistaUn abrazo
VastaaPoistaUn fuerte abrazo
That's just an inspiring/inspired way of preserving the past and making it accessible to the masses, incorporating it into daily life and modern/contemporary architecture.
Besetes.
VastaaPoistaOnpa huiman näköistä. Minusta tuntuu, että en uskaltaisi kävellä tuosta.
VastaaPoistaNo ompas tosiaan näyttely toteutettu mielenkiintoisesti. Tuossa jo huimaa kun alas katselee. Tulikohan noihin aikoihin kuinka usein putkiremontti ajankohtaiseksi? =D
