Näin tämän jo toukokuussa, kun olin Hesassa, ja edelleen nyt elokuussa.

Ihmettelin toukokuussa tuolikasaa, mutta nyt tiedän, että tämä on kierrätysmateriaalista rakennettu 

Tadashi Kawamatan teos "Pesä".

I saw this for the first time in May when I was in Helsinki, and again this August.

 I wondered about the pile of chairs in May, but now I know that this is Tadashi Kawamata's work "Nest" built from recycled material.

Puun sielu - Heijastus / Reflections

6-tien varrella Tohmajärvellä on "Puun sielu" -niminen taidegalleria. Se on aivan upea kohde, piha-alue iso ja vehreä, ja päärakennus oli niin kaunis. Sisällä on sekä kotimaisten että ulkolaisten tekijöiden puutaidetta. Katso: Puun sielu

In Tohmajärvi there is an art gallery called Puun Sielu ("The soul of wood"). It is really beautiful place. Inside of the house there are wood sculptures of domestic and foreign artists. 

Puun Sielun vuoden 2017 kansainvälisen veistotapahtuman sekä gallerianäyttelyn teemana on "Tanssi ja unelma". Teeman inspiroijana on Michael Jackson.

The theme of Wood Soul's 2017 International Sculpture and gallery exhibition is "A dance and a dream". The inspiration for this theme is Michael Jackson.

Hylkeitä Helsingissä / Seals in Helsinki

Senaatintorilla on hylkeitä !! (Stefan Lindforsin muotoilemia ja eri taiteilijoiden koristelemia, niitä on 40 kpl). 

Tapahtuma kuuluu "Suomi100" -projektiin. Loppukesästä ne sirotellaan eri puolille Hesaa. Lue täältä.

The Senate Square has seals !! The event is part of the "suomi100" project. Various artists are decorating their own of Stefan Lindfors's statue, they are 40 pieces. Finally they are placed in different parts of Helsinki.
