Oltiin syömässä, ja keksin laittaa kameran pöydälle ja otin salaa ohikulkijoista kuvia.
We were eating dinner and I put the camera on the table and I took secret photos of passers-by.

Jotain siellä näkyy… se ei näy minulle.
Something there you can see ... it is not visible to me.

Kuvattava kohde jäi ikuiseksi mysteeriksi.
The subject was a perpetual mystery.

Toledo Katedraali (Espanja 5)

Aloitimme Toledoon tutustumisen Katedraalista. Jos kuvien määrä on suoraan verrannollinen tehtyyn vaikutukseen, niin Toledon Katedraali sen teki. 

Kuvani ei todellakaan tee oikeutta sen kauneuteen ja suuruuteen. 

We started our visit to Toledo in Cathedral. If the number of images is directly proportional to the impact, the Cathedral of Toledo did it.  My photos really don't do justice to its beauty and greatness. 

Ensimmäisessä kuvassa on alttari, jota sai ihailla kaukaa aidan takaa. 

Siinä on raamatun tarina kohokuvina, koska kansa oli lukutaidotonta.

In the first photo there is the altar, which may be admired from a distance behind the fence. 

There are the story of the Bible by relief, because the people were illiterates.

The rest of the pictures are messed up here and there.

Katedraali rakennettiin 1200-1400 -luvuilla.

The cathedral was built in 1200-1400 centuries.

Täällä ihminen oli pieni. Kaikkialla on maalauksia ja veistoksia. Ei voi kuin ihmetellä entisajan upeaa rakentamista ja maalaustaidetta. Ja kaikki tämä on uskontoa varten. 

Menisi monta päivää tutustua kunnolla kaikkeen.

Here the people is really small. Everywhere there are paintings and sculptures. You cannot help but wonder the beauty of construction and painting of old time. And all of these are for religion. 

It would take many days to explore everything properly.

Rauniot lattian alla / The ruins under the floor – Toledo (Espanja 4)

Toledossa sijaitsevan KOKER-vaatekaupan lattian alla on Rooman vallan aikaisen vesihuollon rauniot. Oli huikaisevan pyörryttävä kokemus seistä "tyhjän päällä", ulkoovesta sisään astuttaessa olit heti lasilevyn päällä ja katsoit alas raunioihin. Kellarissa on osa jakeluverkkoa, jonka tarkoitus oli kuljettaa vettä kylpylöihin.

In Toledo there is a Koker clothing store, where are below the floor the ruins of the water supply of the Roman Empire. It was a dazzling experience with dizzy to stand on "an empty spot". When you came into the shop, immediately you stepped onto a glass plate. In the basement is part of the distribution network, the purpose of which was to carry water to spas.
