 Keilaniemi Espoossa on lukuisten suuryritysten pääkonttoreiden keskittymä. Tänne suunnitellaan vielä lisää tornitaloja (mm. 40, 36 ja 32 kerroksiset asuintalot).

Keilaniemi in Espoo is a concentration of the headquarters of numerous large companies. Even more tower blocks are planned here (e.g. 40, 36 and 32 storey residential buildings).

Nämä rakennukset näkyy aina, kun ajelee ohi, mutta eihän tänne ole juuri mitään syytä mennä ilman asiaa. 

Sunnuntain päätin kävellä alueella ristiin rastiin, kun työpaikat on kiinni ja parkkipaikkoja löytyi. Ja mielenkiintoista nähtävää tuolla oli. 

You can always see these buildings when you drive by, but there's no reason to go here without the matter.

On Sunday, I decided to walk around the area when the workplaces are closed and parking spaces were found. And there were interesting things to see there.

Vuonna 1976 valmistui silloinen 20-kerroksinen Nesteen, nykyinen Accountorin pääkonttori. 

In 1976, the then 20-story Neste's, now Accountor's head office, was completed.

Edellisen postauksen Fortumin tornin toiselta puolen on näkymä Espooseen päin. 

Sen kyllä huomaa, että Espoo on siroteltu keskelle metsiä.

On the other side of the Fortum tower (in my previous post)  has a view to Espoo.

You can see that Espoo is in the middle of the woods.

Espoo is Finland's second largest city, but it has many distinct neighborhoods.

Espoo has a population of ab. 272 000 (in Helsinki ab. 633 000).

Kehä I:n parantaminen ja Metron rakentaminen Keilaniemen kohdalla. 

Hirveen näköistä näin ylhäältä katsottuna. 

Rakennustöiden ollessa pahimmillaan siellä oli aika sompaileminen auton kanssa.

Sain ilon vierailla lauantaina Espoon Keilaniemessa olevan Fortumin Pääkonttorin katolla (entinen Nesteen torni eli Raaden hammas). Talossa on 20 kerrosta, ja oletettavasti olin 18. kerroksessa (tuolla molemmin puolin olevien "siipien" katolla). Ensin näköalat Helsinkiin päin.

I was visiting on Saturday in a roof of Fortum's headquarters in Espoo. The house has 20 floors, and, presumably, I was on the 18th floor (on both sides of the "wings"). First views are towards Helsinki.

 Länsiväylä. Näille merimaisemille saamme sanoa hyvästit, jahka Metro tulee joskus valmiiksi.

The motorway to Helsinki. We say goodbye to this sea landscape when the Underground will be completed someday.

Oli kaunis, mutta kylmä aurinkoinen päivä ja ylhäältä katsottuna ei tällä puolen näy paljon lunta.

It was a beautiful but cold sunny day and seen from above, there was not so much snow.

Joulupäivän happihyppely

Aurinkoa mutta kylmää, pakkasta -12 C. Se on vähän liikaa.. 

Näpit jäätyy, kun ottaa kameran esiin.
