Luontopolulla / On the nature trail

Virven ja poikien loma on alkanut upeasti. Sääkin on suosinut. Parin päivän hirmuhelteiden jälkeen lämpötila laski, mutta mieluummin 20-22 C kuin 33 C. Ja sadettakin vain öisin ja aamulla. Pääosin ollaan kulutettu päiviä luonnossa ja uimarannoilla sekä oltu uimassa päivisin ja myös myöhään illalla. 

Löydettiin Kirkkonummelta Meikon luonnonsuojelualue ja vain 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä kotoa. Uskomattoman kiva polku vei ensin kallioita pitkin kauniille järvelle, jota sitten kierrettiin. Upea iltapäivä perheen kesken, joka venyi iltaan asti makkaranpaiston merkeissä.

 The holiday of my daughter Virve and her sons has started wonderfully. The weather has also favored. After two days of terrible hot weather the temperature dropped, but rather 20-22 C than 33 C. And it has been raining only at night and in the morning. We have mainly spent days in nature and on the beaches as well as swimming during the days and also late in the evenings.

We found a beautiful nature park in Kirkkonummi and only a 20 minute drive from home. An incredibly beautiful path led first along the cliffs to the lovely lake, and then path circled the lake shore. Gorgeous afternoon with all my family, which continued until late in the evening by the campfire sausage frying.

Erään kallion huipulla pysähdyttiin ihmettelemään paria hullunrohkeaa nuorta poikaa, jotka hyppivät kalliolta alas veteen. Olivat kuulemma tutkineet, ettei ole kiviä.

At the top of a cliff we saw two young boys jumping down a cliff into the water. They had examined that there were no rocks in the water.

Kalliojärvi

Menimme luontopolkuilemaan Tohmajärven Pyhäselän Kalliojärvelle.

Mutta ennenkuin edes tänne asti päästiin, oli aika mielenkiintoinen polku edessä. 

We went for a hike to Lake Kalliojärvi (Rock lake).

But before we got here, there was quite an interesting path to the front.

Tästä se alkoi, polvi petti ihan alussa, ja kaverini sai palata autolle hakemaan idealisiteen, jonka kiedoin farkkupuntin päälle. Hyvä olikin, sillä polku oli aika hankala kävellä kipeällä polvella, oli jyrkkiä nousuja ja laskuja.

At the beginning of the path, my knee became sore and my friend went to seek up a knee support from the car. 

It was good, because the path was quite difficult to walk with a bad knee, there were steep climbs and downhills.

Tuonne alas oli tarkoitus mennä… tosin sentäs polkua pitkin.
Down there was supposed to go... albeit along the path.

Kaksi pattipolvea luonnossa, toinen pääsi sentäs liikkumaan.

En pystynyt kiertämään järveä kokonaan. Jäi vastaranta kokematta, kun palattiin samaa polkua takaisin.

Onneksi oli tanssi-illat jo takana, tällä polvella tokko olisin "humpannut".. :).
Polvi kesti mainiosti kävelemisen tasamaastossa, niin ettei loma mennyt pieleen.

I couldn't walk  completely around the lake. Fortunately, the dance nights already were behind us, with this knee it would be impossible to dance. The knee was okey by walking on a flat terrain so the vacation didn't go wrong.

PS. Paikkakunta korjattu. Ei ole Tohmajärvellä, vaan Pyhäselällä.
