Jossain nähtyä, ja piti pysähtyä ottamaan kuva.

Pihamaa, Viini- ja puutarhatila

Aivan ihana paikka.

Winery and Garden Farm called Pihamaa ("farmyard"). It was so lovely place.

Viiniä kaikista mahdollisista marjoista ja hedelmistä.

Wine made from every possible kind of berry and fruit.

Oli niin litistynyt viinisaavi, ettei siellä sisäpuolella mahtunut istumaan.

The wine vat was so squashed that there wasn't room to sit inside it.

Laituri ja heijastus / Pier and reflection

 

Vesi oli hyytävän kylmää, kun saunasta pulahti uimaan.

The water was freezing cold when I went swimming after the sauna.

Kärpässieniä / Fly agarics

 

Kauniita sieniä, mutta ei kannata syödä.

Beautiful mushrooms, but not worth eating (the fly agaric is poisonous).

Kurkia pellolla / Cranes in the field

 

Olin maalla lomalla muutaman päivän, ja näin kurkien kerääntyneen pellon laitaan muuttoa varten. 

En ole ennen nähnyt näin monta yhtäaikaa, joten innostuin. 

Mutta kurjet oli kaukana, pellon toisella laidalla.

I was in the country for a few days in holiday, and I saw cranes gathered at the edge of a field for migration. I have never seen so many at once before, so I was excited. 

But the cranes were far away, on the other side of the field.

Porvoo

Muutama viikko sitten päiväretkellä Porvoossa (perustettu v. 1380) Virve-tyttären kanssa.

Siellä voisi käydä useamminkin, kun se ei ole niin kovin kaukana.

A few weeks ago we took a day trip to the old town of Porvoo (founded in 1380) with my daughter Virve.

I could go there more often because it's not that far.
