Kotikatuni toisessa päässä, jonne Metroasemakin rakennetaan, on ollut talvesta lähtien tietyöt käynnissä, mitä lie maan alle laitetaankaan. Aikanaan tuo matala valkoinen talo puretaan ja tilalle tulee 22-kerroksinen tornitalo. Kivenlahdessa on nyt n. 8000 asukasta, mutta suunnitteilla on nostaa määrä n. 25000 asukkaaksi vuoteen 2050 mennessä.
At the other end of my home street, where the Metro station also comes, street work has been going on since the winter, something is done there underground. In time, the low white house will be demolished and replaced by a 22-storeys tower house. Now Kivenlahti has about 8000 inhabitants, but there are plans to increase the number about to 25000 by 2050.

All cities progress. Going from 8 to 25 thousand inhabitants, I don't know if it will be progress. Going from 'human' buildings to 22-story towers I don't think is progress.
Your photos will be the testimony of the change in your city. I'll be back in 2050 to check the changes.)
