Minua ei yhtään hymyillytä, sillä onnistuin hävittämään blogin yläkuvan, enkä saa uutta tilalle..

Ja pitäisi tehdä veropaprut kuntoon tilitoimistoa varten.. ja tehdä yhtä sun toista tärkeää.. Mutta minä vain laiskottelen, ja katson telkkua tai juoruan puhelimessa. Kaikkea saamattomuutta ei voi laittaa koronan syyksi.

I'm not smiling at all because I managed to destroy to header picture of blog and I can't get a new one to replace it. And I should do the tax papers for the accounting firm .. and do all sorts of important things .. I don’t think everything seems to be due to the corona. I'm just so lazy, I watch TV or talk on the phone.

Lunta !!! / Snow !!!

Saatiin lunta tänne eteläänkin !! Ja saattaapi olla pysyvääkin. Pakkasta oli nyt aamusella -2,6 C, ei paha.

We got snow !! And it may be permanent. The frost was in the morning -2.6 C, not so cold.

Ei tullut lunta jouluksi, eikä loppuvuodeksikaan. Vettä sataa ja on tylsää. 

Saas nähdä, mitä tuleva talvi tuo tullessaan.

We didn’t get snow towards the end of the year. It's raining and it is boring.

Maybe the coming winter will bring a white landscape.

Toivon sydämestä, että korona taittuu ensi vuonna rokotuksen myötä. Sitä odotellessamme olkaamme edelleen varovaisia, käyttäkäämme maskia, peskäämme käsiä ja välttäkäämme väkijoukkoja.

I really hope that Covid will gradually disappear with the vaccination. Finland has been spared large numbers of infections, perhaps because there are so few of us (only 5.5 million)  we are a sparsely populated country, we don't have cities of millions people, we don't hug and kiss easily and we obey the instructions. Although we also have a lots of limitations, for example we have no mask compulsion, there is only a recommendation. Fortunately, very many people already use it.

Istumispaikka / Sitting place

Joulu oli ja meni. Olimme pojan perheen kesken aattona. Oli ihana nähdä pitkästä aikaa lapsenlapset sisätiloissa, ja kun en ole nähnyt Leeviä (7 v.) kuin pipo päässä ulkona, niin yllätys, yllätys - hänellä oli tukka kasvanut hurjasti. Kun ennen oli ollut ihan siilitukka, en ollut tuntea koko poikaa, Ja sama juttu Lillin (10 v.) kanssa, tullut jo pieneksi esiteiniksi. Lapset kasvaa niin nopeasti. Tämä korona varastaa monta hetkeä, jolloin voisi olla lasten kanssa. Olen läpeensä kyllästynyt.

Christmas was and went. I were with my son's family on the eve. It was wonderful to see the grandchildren indoors for a long time. When I have seen Leevi (7 years old) only with a beanie in the outdoors, so it was a big surprise -  his hair had grown a lot, he had previously a hedgehog. I almost didn’t recognise the boy,. And the same with Lilli (10 years old), she has already become a little miss. Kids grow up so fast. This Korona steals many moments when we could be with the kids. I am completely fed up.

Tänään nähty uimarannalla, lämpötila telttailulle oli erinomainen, peräti 4,5 C.

Joululaulut pihalla / Christmas carols in the yard

 

Espoon seurakunta on järjestänyt joululauluja talojen pihalla sunnuntai-iltapäivisin, kun kaikki konsertit kirkoissa on peruttu koronan takia. Eilen he soittivat ja lauloivat minun pihalla. Oli tosi kelju, vähän kylmä ilma, satoi pientä vettä. Ja niinpä soittajat olivat kongin alla ja laulajat aivan seinän vieressä. Tarkoitus oli kuunnella heitä parveekkeelta. Mutta eihän heitä näkynyt ja kuuluvuuskin oli huono, joten pihalle oli tultava. Oli muuten mahtavaa kuunnella tuttuja perinteisiä, kauniita joululauluja ulkotilassa.

The Espoo parish has organized Christmas carols in the yard of the houses on Sunday afternoons, because all the concerts have been canceled in churches due to the corona. Yesterday they performed in my yard. It was really bad air, it was raining a little. And so the musicians were under the canopy and the singers right next to the wall. The intention was to listen to them from the balcony, but the reception was not so good, so we had to come to the yard to listen. By the way, it was awesome to listen to familiar traditional, beautiful Christmas carols outdoors.

Tämä on pihani ja tuossa keskellä heidän oli aikomus esiintyä.

This is my yard and in that middle they were going to perform.

Joulun vihreyttä / Green of Christmas

On taas se aika, kun joulukuusia myydään. Ei vain ole aivan jouluinen tunnelma kun ei ole lunta.

It's again the time of Christmas tree sales. Not quite a Christmas mood because no snow.

Meidän rapussa on joulukuusi ja joulupukki. Lapsia kiinnostaa kovasti nuo paketit (tyhjää täynnä).

Our staircase has a Christmas tree and Santa Claus. 

Kids are very interested of those packages (full of empty).

Lippulaivan rakennustyömaata / The building complex

Olin hieman kiertämässä tätä työmaata. Ympärimenoon saan yleensä kulumaan aikaa n. tunnin verran, nyt kävelin vain yhtä sivua edestakaisin. Lippulaivan (ostari, metroasema, bussivarikko ym.) rakennuskompleksi on jo aika pitkällä. Se on niin valtava rakennustyömaa, ettei näin ole edes mahdollisuutta saada koko työmaata samaan kuvaan.

The building complex for the shopping center  metro station, bus depot, etc. is already quite advanced. It’s such a huge construction site that I don’t even have a chance of getting the whole buildning in the same picture. I usually take about an hour to go around this complex, now I only walked one page back and forth.

Yön valot / Lights in the night

 

Eilen oli taas hetken pakkasta ja lunta, joka teki pimeästä ajasta hieman valoisamman. Pientä yritystä oli myös vedenpinnankin jäätyminen. Mutta tänään ei taaskaan ole enää lumen hipustakaan.

Yesterday there was frost and snow again for a while, which makes the dark time a little brighter. 

Even the water surface froze a bit.  But today, again, there is no more snow.

Portaita / Stairs

 

Iso kallioalue erottaa Ala- ja Ylä-Kivenlahden. Ja kun asun Ala-Kivenlahdessa, sisätyy kävelyyni usein joko ylämäet ja alamäet tai vaihtoehtoisesti myös portaita. Ja portaita on paljon joka puolella, mutta onneksi ne ei ole yhtä suoraa pitkää portaikkoa.

A large rock area separates Ala (lower)- and Ylä (overhead)-Kivenlahti. And when I live in Ala-Kivenlahti, my walking often includes either ups and downs or alternatively stairs.  And there are a lot of stairs everywhere, but luckily they are not as straight as a long staircase.

Ei ihan lampun alla / Not quite under the lamp

 

Pysähtyivät just ennen valoa, ja tästä sitten nauraen vauhdilla eteenpäin. Voi, miksi nuoret tekee aina päinvastoin kuin valokuvaaja pyytää. (Kello on n. 16.00 iltapäivällä ja on tosi pimeetä.)

They stopped just before the light, and then run laughed at the pace ahead.  Oh, Why do young people always do the opposite of what the photographer asks. (It is about 4 pm. and it's really dark)
