A large rock area separates Ala (lower)- and Ylä (overhead)-Kivenlahti. And when I live in Ala-Kivenlahti, my walking often includes either ups and downs or alternatively stairs. And there are a lot of stairs everywhere, but luckily they are not as straight as a long staircase.
In the cities there are too stone stairs.
VastaaPoistai would prefer more dirt and grass roads.

...it's nice to see that they aren't snow covered.
VastaaPoistaNoissa portaissa onnistuu porrasjumppa.
VastaaPoistaI hope the city keeps the stairs snow free during the winter.
VastaaPoistaI would find those stairs daunting at the best of time - and positively dangerous if they were snow covered. I hope the city does keep them clean - or that you can find alternatives.
VastaaPoistaGreat photos.
VastaaPoistaThey seem well laid out.
VastaaPoistaBesos
