Helsinki kävelyni jatkui ohi kauniiden vanhojen rakennusten Kauppatorille.
My Helsinki walk continued past the beautiful old buildings to the Market square.
Uspenskin katedraali pilkistää. / Uspenski Cathedral can be seen.
Uusia tornitaloja kauempana / New tower blocks further away.
Matkustajalaiva Silja Serenadi.
Passenger ship Silja Serenadi. Between Helsinki and Stockholm.
Kauppatori, hyvin tyhjä ja tuulinen paikka. Oli muutama myyntikoju (turisti kamaa) ja kahviteltta.
Market square, a very empty and windy place. There were a few stalls (tourist stuff) and a coffee tent.
Torikahvila / Market cafe.
Laivaristeilyn turistipiste odottaa ensi kesää.
The cruise ship tourist point is waiting for next summer.
Ajoesteet, eli niin kutsutut betoniporsaat.
Road barriers, i.e. so-called concrete pigs (in Finnish term).
...thanks for showing me around. Helsinki looks clean and nice!!!
VastaaPoistaThe architecture is fabulous
VastaaPoistaWow. Your concrete pigs look like turtles to me.
VastaaPoistaConcrete pig is a general term for barriers.
PoistaThere are a few different shapes, but the most common ones are the concrete block. I like these turtles best. Orvokki
Great craftsmanship in those old houses and that market is a bit deserted anyway. Those turtles, on the other hand, are another very nice find that deserves emulation.
VastaaPoistaBonita arquitectura, tiene esos edificios. Me ha gustado especialmente, la fotografía nº7.
VastaaPoistaFeliz domingo.
Unos bonitos edificios, aun no vi tan de cerca un barco tan grande de pasajeros y también me parece curioso las barreras que tienen una denominación tan especial.
VastaaPoistaSaludos.
