For example, Niittykumpu currently has now about 5000 inhabitants, but the population is expected to grow to 12000 by the year 2030. Expensive subway line will need to get more passengers.

The apartments are of different sizes, one room, 25-30 m2, (incl. Room and small kitchen or open kitchen, bathroom), the most common probably have two rooms of about 45-60 m2 (includes living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom). The largest are three to four rooms, 65-90 m2 (includes living room, 2-3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and some with sauna). We always count all rooms together. Kitchen and bathroom equipment are included (except dishwasher and washing machine, which the resident himself buys if he wishes). Laundry is washed in the bathroom, which usually has space for a washing machine. Some houses have a common laundry room and drying room. Today, very small apartments are being built.
