Hyvää uutta vuotta 2024 / Happy New Year

 

Tänään paistoi aurinko, se ihmeellinen keltainen pallo. Tuntuu, että on ollut monta viikkoa, ettemme ole sitä nähneet. Hyvin matalalla se vielä on ja kestää vain muutamia tunteja, ehkä 6 tuntia ja sitten tulee taas pimeys. Mutta auringon hintana on kylmyys, tänäänkin kävelin puolitoista tuntia -13 C pakkasessa ja näpit jäätyi, kun otin muutaman kuvan. On niin kaunista, sillä eilen satoi lunta ja se jäi puiden oksille.

The sun was shining today, that wonderful yellow ball. It feels like we haven't seen it in weeks. It's still very low and lasts only a few hours, maybe 6 hours and then it's dark again. But the price of the sun is the cold, even today I walked for an hour and a half in -13 C freezing temperatures and my fingers froze when I took a few pictures. The natur is so beautiful, because yesterday it snowed and it stayed on the branches of the trees.
