Auringonlasku / Sunset

 

Aurinko laskee hyvin aikaisin, jo klo 16, mutta antaa kuitenkin välillä upean värityksen.

The sun sets very early, as early as 4 p.m., but still sometimes gives a wonderful coloration.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #7 / Parking garage

Kuukausi on kulunut, eikä mitään ei ole muuttunut ulkoisesti, kun hallissa on tehty sisähommia.

Tämä on parvekkeelta otettu.

A month has passed and nothing has changed on the outside while the interior work has been done

Lasiseinän asennusta. Arkkitehdin myönnytys kadonneelle vihreällä puustolle.. heh.

Saadaan pientä "taidetta", kun aurinko heijastaa vastapäisen maiseman vihreään lasiin.

We get a little "art" when the sun reflects the opposite landscape on the green glass.

Tiedoksi, että me emme saa tästä hallista parkkipaikkaa. Tähän tulevat uusien tornitalojen asukkaiden paikat. Ja ne talot on toisessa päässä katua, eikä niitä ole vielä alettu rakentaa. Meillä on oma parkkitalo myös toisessa päässä katua. Tällä kadulla on nyt yhteensä neljä parkkihallia ja kaksi isoa parkkikenttää. Tämä parkkihalli on suurin (5 kerrosta), ne toiset ovat 2-4 -kerroksia.

We do not get a parking space in this hall. This will include the places for the residents of the new tower blocks. And those houses are at the other end of the street, and they haven't been starting built yet. We also have our own parking garage at the other end of the street. This street now has a total of four parking garages and two large parking plats. This parking garage is the largest (5 floors), the others have 2-4 floors.

Lippulaivan kirjastossa kuulimme viikonloppuna menneen ajan ihanaa musiikkia "Syöksytorvi"-yhtyeeltä.

In the library of the Lippulaiva, we heard wonderful music from the past in the weekend.

 

Ruskaa maassa / Fall color on the ground

 

Sadetta ja tuulta, ja lehdet maassa. Onneksi on tyyniäkin päiviä, jopa aurinkoisia.

Minun vointi on jo parempi, mutta en vielä kävele pitkiä matkoja.

Rain and wind, and the leaves are on the ground. Fortunately, there are also calm days, even sunny ones.

I'm already feeling better, but I'm still not walking long distances.

Pelkkää puhdasta ruskaa / Just autumn colors

 

En ole vielä terve, mutta oli käytävä ulkona. Oli kaunis päivä, mutta usein kun lähden ulos auringon paistaessa, niin se menee äkkiä pilveen, ja viimeistään tulee esiin, kun olen taas kotona. 

I'm not well yet, but I had to go outside. It was a beautiful day, but often when I'll go out when the sun is shining, it suddenly goes into the clouds, and at the latest comes out when I'm home again.

Ei, en ole vaihtanut autoa Teslaan, mutta kun tuo nyt sattui ajamaan parkkiin tuohon eteen, niin pitihän ottaa kuva.

Auringonlasku ja ruskaa / Sunset and autumn color

 

Aikaa on kulunut. Virve oli  Sveitsistä lyhyellä lomalla viikko sitten. Oli onneksi hyvät ilmat, joten monena iltana nähtiin upeat auringonlaskut. No, tämä viikko onkin ollut sateista ja tuulista, todella inhottavat ilmat. Ja olen ollut kipeä, flunsassa, joten mietin, ehdinkö ollenkaan tallentamaan upeaa ruskaa.

Time has passed. Virve (my daughter) was on a short vacation from Switzerland a week ago. Fortunately, the weather was good, many evenings we saw wonderful sunsets. Well, this week has been rainy and windy, really disgusting weather. And I've been sick, with a cold, so I wonder if I'll even have time to take photos of the wonderful fall.

Auton vaihto / Car exchange

Ostin uuden vanhan auton, Citroen C3. Vm 2014. Ja nyt on totuttelemista tähän hieman suurempaan autoon. Kun Micra oli sellainen söpö pieni. Mutta siinä oli katsastuksessa niin paljon vikoja, ettei kannattanut enää korjata. Ja olihan se jo vanhakin, vm. 2004. Ajoin sitä liki 20 vuotta. Minä todella rakastin Micraa, jos voi sanoa rakastavansa autoa.

En aikonut ostaa uutta autoa tilalle, ajattelin olla hetken ilman autoa, 

mutta sain niin hyvän tilaisuuden, että se piti käyttää hyväksi.

I bought a new old car, a Citroen C3, year model 2014. And now it's time to get used to this slightly bigger car. The former Micra was such a cute little one. But it had so many defects during the inspection that it was not worth repairing anymore. And it was already old, year model 2004. I drove it for almost 20 years. And I really loved it, if you can love a car.

I wasn't going to buy a new car to replace it, I thought I'd be without a car for a while, 

but I got such a good opportunity that I had to take advantage of it.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #6 / Parking garage

 

Vastapäinen parkkitalo on nyt harjakorkeudessa. Muutamaan viikkoon ei juuri ole näkynyt muutoksia julkisivussa, vaan on keskitetty sisätilojen rakentamiseen.

The parking garage across the street  is now at the finished height. 

For a few weeks, hardly any changes can be seen in the facade. 

Now the focus is on building the interior.

Luultavasti sadevettä ruiskutetaan ulos.

Probably rain water is spraying out.

Öisin on valot päällä, joten tuota taloa ei voi koskaan unohtaa.

At night, the lights are on, so you can never forget that house.

Kun aurinko laski, tulee tosi pimeä. Jo klo 20.30 jälkeen meri näkyy vain mustana. 

When the sun went down, it got really dark.You can see the sea as black already after 20:30.

Auringonlasku tapahtuu näin syksyä kohti mennessä yhä vaan aikaisemmin. 

Hyvä, että ehtii tajuta sen, niin se on jo mennyt ohi. Nyt ehdin rannalle ajoissa.

The sunset happens always earlier and earlier when we go towards autumn. It's good if you have time to realize it, because it's go already pass. Now I made it to the beach in time.

Mustion linna / Mustio Manor

 

Käytiin pojan perheen kanssa Mustion Linnassa (rakennettu 1789-1792). Nyt rakennus on museona ja alue on konferenssialue hotelleineen. Puisto on ihana, kaunis ja laaja. Ja vain n. 45 km kotoa.

 Jostain syystä en ole aiemmin ollut täällä.

Hotelli / The hotel

We were with my son's family in Mustio Manor (built 1789-1792). Now the building is a museum and in the area there is a conference area and hotels. The park is wonderful, beautiful and vast. And only approx. 45 km from home. For some reason I haven't been here before.
