Vihdoinkin tuli nähtyä Raaseporin linnan (1370) rauniot. Tehtiin porukalla sinne päiväretki.
Muistaakseni olin ollut alakoulun luokkaretkellä täällä, vaan en muistanut koko linnasta mitään. Se oli isompi kuin kuvittelin. Oli erittäin mielenkiintoinen kohde. Kiva oli kuvitella entinen vallihauta linnan ympärille. Niin tuo maasto muuttuu vuosisatojen aikana.
We don't have many castles or ruines in Finland but now I finally saw the ruins of Raseborg Castle (1370). We made with the family an excursion there. I remember I had been on a class trip here as I was a kid, but I didn’t remember anything about this castle. It was bigger than I imagined. It was a very interesting destination. It was nice to imagine a former moat around the castle. So that terrain changes over the centuries.

Raseborg Castle was built in the 1370s on a smooth rock surrounded by water as the administrative center of western Uusimaa and its task was to control shipping and trade in the Gulf of Finland. The heyday of Raseborg was in the 1450s and 1460s. The castle was abandoned in 1558 after the establishment of the Helsinki and Tammisaari.

Kerran olen käynyt paikalla, ei ole paljon muuttunut 20v. 8D
VastaaPoistaSeguro que en sus tiempos de esplendor tubo mejor cara el edificio, pero no esta tan mal después de años en desuso.
VastaaPoistaSaludos.
