Oltiin syömässä, ja keksin laittaa kameran pöydälle ja otin salaa ohikulkijoista kuvia.

Toledo Katedraali (Espanja 5)

Aloitimme Toledoon tutustumisen Katedraalista. Jos kuvien määrä on suoraan verrannollinen tehtyyn vaikutukseen, niin Toledon Katedraali sen teki. 

Kuvani ei todellakaan tee oikeutta sen kauneuteen ja suuruuteen. 

We started our visit to Toledo in Cathedral. If the number of images is directly proportional to the impact, the Cathedral of Toledo did it.  My photos really don't do justice to its beauty and greatness. 

Ensimmäisessä kuvassa on alttari, jota sai ihailla kaukaa aidan takaa. 

Siinä on raamatun tarina kohokuvina, koska kansa oli lukutaidotonta.

In the first photo there is the altar, which may be admired from a distance behind the fence. 

There are the story of the Bible by relief, because the people were illiterates.

The rest of the pictures are messed up here and there.

Katedraali rakennettiin 1200-1400 -luvuilla.

The cathedral was built in 1200-1400 centuries.

Täällä ihminen oli pieni. Kaikkialla on maalauksia ja veistoksia. Ei voi kuin ihmetellä entisajan upeaa rakentamista ja maalaustaidetta. Ja kaikki tämä on uskontoa varten. 

Menisi monta päivää tutustua kunnolla kaikkeen.

Here the people is really small. Everywhere there are paintings and sculptures. You cannot help but wonder the beauty of construction and painting of old time. And all of these are for religion. 

It would take many days to explore everything properly.

Rauniot lattian alla / The ruins under the floor – Toledo (Espanja 4)

Toledossa sijaitsevan KOKER-vaatekaupan lattian alla on Rooman vallan aikaisen vesihuollon rauniot. Oli huikaisevan pyörryttävä kokemus seistä "tyhjän päällä", ulkoovesta sisään astuttaessa olit heti lasilevyn päällä ja katsoit alas raunioihin. Kellarissa on osa jakeluverkkoa, jonka tarkoitus oli kuljettaa vettä kylpylöihin.

In Toledo there is a Koker clothing store, where are below the floor the ruins of the water supply of the Roman Empire. It was a dazzling experience with dizzy to stand on "an empty spot". When you came into the shop, immediately you stepped onto a glass plate. In the basement is part of the distribution network, the purpose of which was to carry water to spas.

Rotko / The gorge (Espanja 3)

Asuinalueen lähellä on laaja rotko. Siinä reunalla seisoen näin silmänkantamattomiin leviävän karun mutta kauniin näkymän. Se veti mielen hiljaiseksi.

Near the community there is a huge gorge. When I'm standing on the edge of the gorge I can see the rugged but beautiful view spreading far. It makes the mind quiet.

Täällä tykkäsin kävellä. Kerran laskeuduin alas ajatellen mennä rotkon vastapäisellä rinteellä olevaan kylään. Mutta en tiennyt reittiä moottoritien yli. Maitohapot jaloissa kapusin takaisin tuon liki 2 km pitkän jyrkän matkan.

I liked to hike here. Once I landed down on my mind to go to the village of the other side of the gorge. But I did not know how go over the motorway. Lactic acid in my legs I climbed back almost 2 km long steep slope.

Jollakin on energiaa !!

Eurovillas, katuja / Streets in Eurovillas (Espanja 2)

Siskoni asuinalue, Eurovillas, on valtava. Kilometrettäin ristiin rastiin katuja, talojen kattoja ja muureja. Kaikki tontit on ympäröity muureilla ja niissä oli ikivihreitä kasveja. Alue on oikea porttibongarin paratiisi :). Alue on n. 55 km pääsä Madridista, mutta on silti täysin "jossain ei missään".

Enimmäisinä päivinä tietenkin eksyin siellä kävellessä ennenkuin sisäistin katujen logiigan: pystysuorat kadut on nimetty numeroin numerojärjestyksessä ja vaakakadut eri maiden kaupunkien mukaan aakkosjärjestyksessä. Mutta jotta kaikki ei olisi niin selvää, kaartuivat kadut, ja numerokatu ja kaupunkikatu olivatkin välillä samansuuntaisia. Mutta lopulta opin jopa ajamaan yksin autolla sokkeloisen alueen läpi ostoskeskukseen ym ym.

My sister's residential area, Eurovillas, is huge. You can walk criss-cross many kilometers streets, and see roofs of houses and walls. All the plots are surrounded by walls and had evergreen plants. The area is a real paradise for a hunter of entrances :). The area is approx. 55 km from Madrid, but is still completely "somewhere in nowhere".

First days, of course, I got lost walking there before I internalized the streets adresses: vertical streets are named after the numbers in numerical order and the other streets by the cities of various countries in alphabetical order. But in order for all would not be so easy, streets curves and the number street and the city street were sometimes in the same direction. But eventually, I learned even drive alone a car through the labyrinthine area to ​​the shopping center, and so on.

Espanjan terveiset / Greetings from Spain /Espanja 1)

Kotona jälleen. Muutaman päivän lomaväsymyksen potemisen jälkeen elämä voittaa ja arki ja työt odottaa. 3,5 viikkoa Espanjassa oli ihana kokemus. Vaikka en reissannut kauas enkä pitkiä matkoja, muistoja ja kuvia on valtava määrä. Jahka ehdin niitä tsekata, niin tänne laitan. Aluksi laitan Siskoni kotitalosta kuvia. Vaikka ikivihreät puut, pensaat ja aitakasvit antoivat silmille vaikutelman suomalaisesta kesästä, niin tuolla kevät oli kuulemma tosi myöhässä ja päivälämpötila oli korkeimmillaanvain n. +7 … +12 °C, aamut ja illat oli aika kylmiä. Niin että minä pohjolan ihmisenä jopa palelin (välillä kaipasin pipoa päähän :), eritoten kun sisällä lämpötila oli vain +18… +19 °C (kun on tottunut +23 °C) ! Onneksi muutamana päivänä oli todella hellettä, +20°C

Home again. After a few tired days life is winning and everyday work is waiting. 3.5 weeks in Spain was a wonderful experience. Although I didn't traveled far and long trips, memories and images are a huge amount. When I'll get them checking out, I'll put them here. At first, I show you my sister's home. While evergreen trees, shrubs and plants fence gave the impression of the summer, the spring was very late and the middle days temperature peaked at only approx. +7 ... + 12 ° C, mornings and evenings was pretty cold. So while I'm a person of the North felt a bit cold, especially when inside of the house was only +18 ... +19 ° C (I'm used to 23 ° C). Fortunately a few days were really heat, ab. +20 °C


Eräs hieno kokemus oli tavata blobiystävä Laura M ja miehensä Paco Salamacasta (Béjar). He tulivat eräänä päivä luoksemme. Laura on kiva ja välitön henkilö, ja vaikka meillä ei ollut yhteistä kieltä, tuntui kuin olisin tuntenut hänet iät ja ajat. On upeaa tavata ihminen jonka blogeja on lukenut ja jota ei koskaan olisi uskonut edes tapaavan.  Myöhemmin seuraan liittyi siskoni suomalainen ystävätär saksalaisen miehensä kanssa, joten meillä oli oikein kansainvälinen miitinki (suomalaisten voittaessa :). Meillä oli kivaa, kiitos Laura, ystävyytemme säilyy. Lupasin opiskella hieman enemmän espanjaa seuraavaa kertaa varten niiden muutaman sanan lisäksi joita jo osaan.
Laura kertoi jo aiemmin tapaamisestamme blogissaan, ja hänellä oli parempia yhteiskuvia kuin minulla, joten käy katsomassa hänen blogistaan "Con Orvokki" .

One great experience was to meet a blog friend Laura M and her husband Paco from Salamacasta (Béjar). They came visit to us one day. Laura is a very nice and direct person, and even though we didn't have a common language, I felt like I've known her for ages. It's great to meet a people whose blog I read and which I never would have thought even to meet. Later joined by a finnish friend of my sister with her german husband, so we had a very international meeting (Finnish winning :).  We had a great time, thank for you, Laura, our friendship will remain. I promised to learn Spanish for the next time..  even a little bit more.
