 Keilaniemi Espoossa on lukuisten suuryritysten pääkonttoreiden keskittymä. Tänne suunnitellaan vielä lisää tornitaloja (mm. 40, 36 ja 32 kerroksiset asuintalot).

Keilaniemi in Espoo is a concentration of the headquarters of numerous large companies. Even more tower blocks are planned here (e.g. 40, 36 and 32 storey residential buildings).

Nämä rakennukset näkyy aina, kun ajelee ohi, mutta eihän tänne ole juuri mitään syytä mennä ilman asiaa. 

Sunnuntain päätin kävellä alueella ristiin rastiin, kun työpaikat on kiinni ja parkkipaikkoja löytyi. Ja mielenkiintoista nähtävää tuolla oli. 

You can always see these buildings when you drive by, but there's no reason to go here without the matter.

On Sunday, I decided to walk around the area when the workplaces are closed and parking spaces were found. And there were interesting things to see there.

Uusi maamerkki asuinalueelle. Autopaikkoja n. 650. Liittyy tulevan metron liityntäpysäköintiin.

Tähän viereen tullaan rakentamaan myös kulttuuri- ja vapaa-ajan rakennus ym.

On aika mennä / It's time to go

Minulla on ollut surullista aikaa, minun lankoni nukkui pois ja siunaus oli viikolla. Leo oli hyvin läheinen minulle, hän kärsi kovista kivuista loppuaikana ja hän myös kaipasi edesmennyttä vaimoaan, minun siskoani, joka menehtyi 6 vuotta sitten. Nyt Leo pääsi kivuista ja saa toivoaksemme olla rakkaansa luona. Lepää rauhassa, Leo.

I have had a sad time, my brother-in-law slept off and the blessing was in the week. Leo was very close to me, he was in great pain during the last period and he also missed his late wife, my sister, who passed away 6 years ago. Now Leo got out of pain and hopefully can be with his loved one. Rest in peace, Leo.

Tyttäreni Virve tuli vajaaksi viikoksi luokseni ja hautajaisiin (ilman poikiaan). Vietimme hyvän ja mukavan loman kaksistaan tavaten sukulaisia ja ulkoillen. Ja poikansa kuulemma viihtyivät hyvin kotona vailla komenteluita, tosin puhelinlinjat olivat ahkerassa käytössä.

My daughter Virve came from Switzerland to my place and for the funeral (without her sons). We spent a good and comfortable week together, meeting relatives and walking outside. Her sons had a nice "holiday" at home without any commandments. However, WhatsApp was in active use.

 

Träskändan puistossa / In Träskända Park

 

Tuli taas viikolla käytyä Träskändan kartanon puistossa. Kartanoa restauroidaan vihdoinkin, se on ollut tyhjillään monta vuotta. Mutta koko puisto valtavine puineen on käymisen arvoinen.

I was visiting the park of the Träskända manor again. The mansion is finally under renovation, it has been empty for many years. But the whole park with its huge trees is worth visiting.

Puisto on kovin kaunis etenkin syksyllä. Minulla on usein huono tuuri, kun aurinko menee pilveen juuri kun pitäisi valokuvata mm. väriloistoa. Ja autoon palattuani se taas ilmestyy taivaalle.

The park is very beautiful, especially in autumn. I often have bad luck when the sun goes into the clouds just when I should be taking photos. And when I go back to the car, it pops up again.

Venäjän keisari ja Suomen suuriruhtinas Aleksanteri II vieraili kartanossa 16.9.1861, ja häntä varten rakennettiin kuusikulmainen käymälärakennus.

The Russian Emperor and Grand Duke of Finland Alexander II visited the mansion on 16 September 1861, and a hexagonal toilet building was built for him.
