Lippulaivan rakennustyömaata / The building complex

Olin hieman kiertämässä tätä työmaata. Ympärimenoon saan yleensä kulumaan aikaa n. tunnin verran, nyt kävelin vain yhtä sivua edestakaisin. Lippulaivan (ostari, metroasema, bussivarikko ym.) rakennuskompleksi on jo aika pitkällä. Se on niin valtava rakennustyömaa, ettei näin ole edes mahdollisuutta saada koko työmaata samaan kuvaan.

The building complex for the shopping center  metro station, bus depot, etc. is already quite advanced. It’s such a huge construction site that I don’t even have a chance of getting the whole buildning in the same picture. I usually take about an hour to go around this complex, now I only walked one page back and forth.

Yön valot / Lights in the night

 

Eilen oli taas hetken pakkasta ja lunta, joka teki pimeästä ajasta hieman valoisamman. Pientä yritystä oli myös vedenpinnankin jäätyminen. Mutta tänään ei taaskaan ole enää lumen hipustakaan.

Yesterday there was frost and snow again for a while, which makes the dark time a little brighter. 

Even the water surface froze a bit.  But today, again, there is no more snow.

Portaita / Stairs

 

Iso kallioalue erottaa Ala- ja Ylä-Kivenlahden. Ja kun asun Ala-Kivenlahdessa, sisätyy kävelyyni usein joko ylämäet ja alamäet tai vaihtoehtoisesti myös portaita. Ja portaita on paljon joka puolella, mutta onneksi ne ei ole yhtä suoraa pitkää portaikkoa.

A large rock area separates Ala (lower)- and Ylä (overhead)-Kivenlahti. And when I live in Ala-Kivenlahti, my walking often includes either ups and downs or alternatively stairs.  And there are a lot of stairs everywhere, but luckily they are not as straight as a long staircase.

Pysähtyivät just ennen valoa, ja tästä sitten nauraen vauhdilla eteenpäin. Voi, miksi nuoret tekee aina päinvastoin kuin valokuvaaja pyytää. (Kello on n. 16.00 iltapäivällä ja on tosi pimeetä.)

They stopped just before the light, and then run laughed at the pace ahead.  Oh, Why do young people always do the opposite of what the photographer asks. (It is about 4 pm. and it's really dark)

Kesä lumen keskellä / Monday mural with snow

 

Tuli "toinen talvi", eli hieman märkää lunta. Piti lähteä lenkille, mutta se jäi vain korttelikierrokseen, sillä maa oli yllättävän liukas, tai sitten minulla vain oli väärät kengät = huono pito.

Tuossa aidan takana on Kivenlahden tuleva metroasema ja maalaus kuvaa Kivenlahtea.

There was a "second winter", that is, a little wet snow. I had to go for a walking, but it was only a block round because the ground was surprisingly slippery, or I just had the wrong shoes = poor grip.

Behind the fence there is the future metro station of Kivenlahti and the graffiti is about Kivenlahti.

Valaistu vesitorni / Illuminated water tower

Minulla oli perjantaiaamuna klo 8.00 (!!! ah, mikä aika) hammaslääkäri ja kun olin reilusti etuajassa ajaessani valaistun Haukilahden vesitornin ohi, niin päätin koukata siellä ja ottaa muutaman kuvan. Mietin, että kävipä tuuri, sillä olin useasti ajatellut ajaa tuonne iltasella. On se vaan niin kaunista, nuo valaistut rakennukset.

I had a Friday morning at 8am (!!! ...what a time) dentist and when I still had a lot of time driving past the illuminated Haukilahti water tower, I decided to go up there and take a few pictures. I think I was lucky, because I had often thought of driving there in the evening. It's just so beautiful, those lighted buildings.

Hanikan luontopolun varrelta näin kalastajat. Piti ottaa nopeat kuvat, kun en kehdannut tähdätä kauan.

I saw fishermen along the Hanika nature trail. Had to take quick shots when I didn’t dare to focus.

Viikonloppuna tein pitkästä aikaa Hanikan luontopolkukierroksen. Oli harmaa sää, ja edellisten päivien sateiden jälkeen pitkospuut oli liukkaita ja maa märkää. Mutta silti, hyvää tuo 4,5 kilsan lenkki teki. Luonnossa mieli ja kroppa ikäänkuin tyhjenee kaikesta turhasta.

Over the weekend, I was in a nature trail. It was gray weather, and after the rains of the previous days the long trees were slippery and the ground wet. But still, 4,5 kilometer hiking made good for my soul and body.

Lunta satoi aamulla pyryttäen, mutta ennen kuin viitsin lähteä ulos, oli se jo lähes sulannut.

It was snowing in the morning a lot, but before I bothered to go out, it had almost melted.

Vaaleanpunainen piristää / Pink cheer up

 

On harmaata ja pirun kylmä tuuli. Onneksi vaatteilla saa vähän väriä näkyville.

Uusi tilapäinen parkkipaikka metrotyömiehille. 

Tässä oli ennen pieni metsikkö mutta muutaman vuoden kuluttua tulee pari 10-12 kerroksista tornitaloa (Metro on tulossa..).

New temporary parking space for for subway builders.

Here was before a very small forest but in a few years, a couple of 10-12-storey tower blocks will come here (because Metro is coming..).

Syksy / Autumn

Syksy saapui ja sateet vei (melkein) viimeisetkin lehdet puista.

Autumn arrived and the rain took away even (almost) the last leaves of the trees.

Minun kyynärpää on parantunut tosi hyvin. No, se olikin vain pieni hiusmurtuma. Mutta silti sen paraneminen kokonaan kestää sen 6 viikkoa. Eilen olin jälkitarkastuksessa, eikä kättä tarvitse enää pitää kantohihnassa. Ja sain luvan ajaa autoa ! 

My elbow has healed really well. Well, it was just a small hair break. But still it takes 6 weeks to fully heal. Yesterday I was in a follow-up inspection and no longer need to be kept on a carrying strap. And I got permission to drive a car!

Lippulaivan työmaa-aidan muraalit / Murals

Uuden Espoolahden kauppakeskuksen, Lippulaivan, suoja-aitaa kirkon pihalta katsottuna. Rakennuksesta tulee valtava, siihen tulee kauppakeskus, metroasema (toiseksi viimeinen, viimeinen on sitten Kivenlahdessa) ja bussiasema sekä asuintorneja, ym ym. Pitäisi valmistua 2022, ainakin kauppakeskuksen osalta (monttua kaivettiin jo 2017).

The construction site fence of future shopping center, Lippulaiva ("Flagship"), seen from the courtyard of the church. The building becomes huge and it will contain a shopping center, subway station and bus station and also residential towers, etc. It should be completed by 2022, at least the shopping center.

Ambulanssit

 

Kompastuin viikolla kuoppaan, ja lensin päistikkaan mahalleen. Kävin Jorvin sairaalassa kuvauttamassa käden, jossa todettiin pieni hiushalkeama. Onneksi se (kyynärpää) ei ole kipeä juuri ollenkaan. Kerran vuodessa on näemmä aina kaaduttava, ja nyt tapahtui tämän vuotinen kupsahdus. Kuvassa on kahden sairaalan välisen yhdyskäytävän lasiseinään heijastuvat ambulanssit (jotka on samalla tasolla, missä itse seison).

I stumbled this week into a pit, and flew to the stomach. I went to Jorvi Hospital to take a picture of the elbow  where a small hairline was found. It is not very sore, fortunately. Once a year, I always have to crash, and now this year’s bump happened. In the picture there are reflected of ambulances (which are on the same level as I stand) in the glass wall of the gateway between the two hospitals.
