Viikon varrelta / Throughout the week

 

Uimarannan kahvila laitettiin nurin. Pitäisi tulla uusi - mutta milloin.

The beach cafe was put upside down. Should come a new one - but when.

Paikalle ilmestyi viikolla sininen koppi. Ei taida olla kahvila, sisällä on pukukoppeja. Suuri mysteeri.

A blue booth appeared at the scene during the week. 

There doesn't seem to be a cafe, there are changing rooms inside. The great mystery.

Sävy sävyyn. / Tint to tone.

Eilisen kuvat ovat tänään jo "entisiä". Luonto vihertyy valtavin harppauksin. 

The pictures taken during the week are already "old" today. Nature is greening by huge leaps.

Koivuissa on jo lehdet. / The birches already have leaves.

Tuomen pieniä nuppuja.

Lätäkkö / Puddle

 

Aamulla (ja yöllä) satoi ja torille muodostui iso lätäkkö. Tornitalo teki kuperkeikan.

In the morning (and at night) it rained and a large puddle formed in the market. 

The tower house made a somersault.

Kirsikka kukkii / The cherry blossoms

Naapurikadun kirsikat taas kukkii. Runsaan viikon ajan saamme nauttia.

The cherries on the neighboring street are blooming again. For just over a week we get to enjoy.

Näitä puita on kuvattu tosi ahkerasti.

Katupölyä ja kukkia / Street dust and flowers

Hiekanharjausta. Suurin osa kaduista on jo harjattu, mutta aina silloin tällöin vastaan tulee harja-auto.

Sand brushing. Most of the streets has already been brushed, but every now and then a brush car comes in front of you.

Ennen. Hiekkaa tiellä / Before. Sand on the street.

Jälkeen. On niin paljon kivempi kävellä, kun hiekka ei narsku kengän alla.

After. It’s so much nicer to walk when the sand doesn’t crackle under the shoe.

Jo vihertää. Kevät tulee, vaikka hidasta on ollut.

Already greening. Spring arrives, albeit slowly.

Kukkiakin näkyy. Valkovuokkoja on tosi paljon. 

You can also see flowers. There are a lot of white anemones. 

Yhden kirsikkapuun näin kukkivan eräällä pihalla. Muut puut vielä odottaa.

I saw a single cherry tree blooming in a some yard. Other trees are still waiting.

PS. Kommentointiongelma jatkuu. Joitain blogeja voin joko kommentoida orvokkina tai anonyyminä tai en pääse lainkaan kommentoimaan. Toivottavasti aika hoitaa asian.

Ongelmia / Problems

Jotain on tapahtunut minun blogille tai googletilille. En pysty enää kommentoimaan ketään. Ensin olin anonyymi, mutta nyt välillä koko kommenttilaatikko ei ilmesty ja en siis voi lainkaan kommentoida. Kehoitetaan vaan kirjautumaan googletiliin, jossa ei kuitenkaan tapahdu mitään. Ja itseasiassa olen koko ajan tilille kirjautuneena. Olen pahoillani kun tai jos minusta ei kuulu mitään.

Syksyllä ilmeni myös tuon yläkuvan vaihtamisen mahdottomuus. Minulla on kaksi muuta blogia (ne on aivan unohdustilassa) ja niihin voisin vaihtaa yläkuvan, mutta nyt niissäkin kommentoinissa on samanlaista ongelmaa. En tiedä mistä johtuu. Ongelma kommentoinnissa on ilmennyt vasta nyt keväällä.

Olen tutkinut googletilin asetuksia, mutta mikään ei auta. Eli olen täysin umpikujassa.

Something has happened to my blog or google account. I can no longer comment on anyone. At first I was anonymous, but now sometimes the whole comment box doesn't appear and I cannot comment. You'll just be prompted to sign in to your google account, but nothing will happen. And in fact, I’m signed in to my account all the time. I am sorry when or if nothing is heard of me.

In the fall I couldn't chang header picture. I have two other blogs (they are completely forgotten) and I could switch the header picture, but now there is same comment problem as here. I don't know why. The commenting problem only became apparent in this spring.

I've been researching google account settings, but nothing helps. So I'm completely lost.

Seurasaari / An open-air museum island

 

Olin HUSin ihotautisairaalassa käymässä, ja kun sinne oikaisen aina Seurasaarentietä pitkin, niin paluumatkalla ajattelin käväistä katsomassa oliskos Seurasaaren pienellä parkkipaikalla tilaa. Muutaman kerran vuosien varrella olen joutunut kääntymään. Nyt kävi tsäkä kun oli yksi vapaa paikka (tuonne ilmeisesti mennään bussilla, kävellen tai pyörällä). Siitä taitaa olla jotain 30 v tai enempikin kun viimeksi kävin täällä. Sää vaan ei suosinut, kun alkoi ripsotella, joten tein vain pienen kierroksen. Mutta taatusti yritän uudelleen kesällä, kun on luontokin vihreää. Aivan ihana paikka kävellä. Olin kokonaan unohtanut.

Niin, tämä on ulkoilmamuseo saaressa lähellä Helsingin keskustaa, ja sinne on raijattu vanhoja rakennuksia ympäri Suomea vuodesta 1909 alkaen. Lue lisää tästä.

Seurasaari is an open-air museum in an island near the center of Helsinki. Old buildings have been moved there all over Finland since 1909. Reed more here.

I haven’t been here in many decades and I forgot how nice place it is. Now I had things to do in Helsinki, and I was thinking of visiting here. The parking space is very small, so I was lucky to have one free space (I have had to turn away a few times in the past.). The weather didn’t favor me because it started raining, so the walk was short. But I will come again in the summer, when nature is also green.

Espoonjoki

 

Jokiahan ei Espoossa juuri ole. Espoonjoki on kai suurin, n. 7 km pitkä, ja kävin katsomassa Espoon kirkon kohdalla miten se tulvii lumien sulettua. Paljon oli vettä. Oli tosi hieno ilma kävellä molemmin puolin joenvartta.

We don't have many rivers in Espoo. The Espoonjoki is probably the largest, ab 7 km long, and I went to see if it flooded after the snow melted. There was a lot of water. It was great weather to walk on both sides of the riverbank.

Edelleen olen Haukilahden rannalla. Kävelin polkua pitkin ja kuvasin mitä näin.

I walked along the path and photographed what I saw.

Rantaa kiertävällä polulla on toinenkin silta. Kumpikin on myös jalankulkijoita varten.

Tuo hiekka harjataan toivottavasti pikaisesti pois.

There is also another bridge along the route, which is for pedestrians too.

That sand which was sprinkled to prevent winter slippery will hopefully soon be brushed off.

Vähän näkyy kahvilan terassia. Taustalla on vesitorni "Haikaranpesä", josta on huikaisevat näköalat.
