Uusiokäyttöä / Reuse

 

Maalatut metroaidat jäivät uuden rakennuksen jalkoihin, mutta niistä aitalevyistä on rakennettu uusi aita. Tosin osa niistä on työmaa-alueen sisäpuolella. Pujahdin aidan raosta katsomaan sunnuntaina, kun ei ollut raksamiehet paikalla.

The painted subway fences were demolished, but a new fence has been assembled from those fence boards. Admittedly, some of them are inside the construction site. I went from the crack of the fence to watch them on Sunday when there were no construction workers present.

Myrskyn aikana ja jälkeen. Vesi nousi aika paljon. On harmaata.

Koko päivän on sadellut. Eli märkä syksy on saapunut.

It has been raining all day. That is, a wet autumn has arrived.

Sus siunatkoon tätä bensan hintaa. Oiskohan siirryttävä lelumopoon.. :)

Lähellä Träskändan puistoa on Talomuseo Glims, jonne poikkesin kahville ja korvapuustille.

On Sunday I also stopped at the House Museum Glims, where I enjoyed good coffee and ate a tasty bun.

Haukilahdessa nähtyä

 

Sunnuntaina oli mahdottoman kaunis syyspäivä. Joten kävin vaihteeksi Haukilahdessa kävelemässä.

 Näkee välillä vähän erilaista merimaisemaa kuin koto-Kivenlahdessa.

Sunday was an impossibly beautiful autumn day. So I went for a walk on the shores of Haukilahti

(one of the many beaches on Espoo's 40 km long shoreline).

Lippulaivan rakentamista / Construction

Kävelin pitkästä aikaa Espoolahden tulevan kauppakeskuksen, Lippulaivan, ympäri. Pitäisi valmistua ensi vuonna. En ole kartalla, kuinka monta kerrostaloa tuohon kompleksiin rakennetaan, mutta monta niitä tulee (ainakin 6-8 kpl, ja lisää on tulossa). Ja kaikki valmistuu suunnilleen samassa ajassa. Aika tiivistä rakentamista. Työmaa-aidat hankaloittaa kuvaamista. 

For a long time I walked around the future shopping center in Espoolahti, Lippulaiva (about 2 km from my home). Should be completed next year. I am not on the map on how many high apartment buildings will be built in that complex, but many will come (at least 6-8, and more to come). And everything will be completed in about the same time. Pretty close construction. And construction site fencing complicate photography.
